Certified PROFINET Installer

Register

The Certified PROFINET Installer training course is essential for electrical and commissioning engineers or technicians who require the globally recognized PI International installation and testing standards for their PROFINET projects. These technicians are often the final link in a project and are essential during commissioning and the entire life cycle of an installation. The Certified PROFINET Installer training course will increase technicians’ understanding of PROFINET best practices, decrease common installation errors and lay the foundations for becoming a PROFINET Certified Engineer or T&M expert.

Become a Certified PROFINET Installer fast

PROFINET is a fieldbus that is rapidly growing in demand. Often times, however, people do not realize that it is a digital data communication system with its own specific guidelines. Most problems occur as a result of simple mistakes during the installation, such as the incorrect use of cables or switches, or even the use of a different version. With proper training these mistakes can be easily avoided. This is why it is increasingly being demanded that only qualified installers carry out a project.

Once equipped with the knowledge of how to deal with a PROFINET network, you have the opportunity to meet these demands and to distinguish yourself from competitors who do not have certified installers. This will provide contractors with the assurance that the installation is being carried out by skillful and adept installers.

As a participant, you will learn how to analyze, localize and solve a PROFINET problem. Theoretical knowledge about cabling, shielding, grounding, timing and measurement tools is the primary foundation of this training course. With the aid of practical exercises with live demo networks, the participants will put theory into practice.

The training course lasts for two and a half days for the theoretical and practical sessions, followed by half a day of exams. Upon successful completion, you will be directly capable of maintaining and solving issues in PROFINET installations. You will have a strong theoretical foundation and will be able to handle the necessary measurement tools, like Netilities. You will be proud to hold the internationally recognized title of Certified PROFINET Installer.

Ready knowledge to solve independent faults

Because we have a duty to deliver, we can not afford to depend on third parties relating to maintenance and troubleshooting. Thanks to the training "PROFIBUS Troubleshooting & Maintenance" we now have ready knowledge and we can independently prevent and rectify errors.
