Knowledge transfer as core of cooperation itsme and PROCENTEC
25 October 2017
Recently, PROCENTEC and itsme signed an agreement that brings an already existing cooperation to another level. PROCENTEC Sales Engineers Vanity Karstan and Clement Jense work closely together with several employees of itsme to further develop this close cooperation. The basis of this agreement are the training courses on PROFIBUS and PROFINET that PROCENTEC will provide at different itsme-locations. These training courses are essential both for end-users, system integrators, original equipment manufacturers and other manufacturers who work with PROFIBUS and PROFINET daily. On this basis, the partnership is now being expanded.
The first step was taken recently, by organizing a lunch & learn session, combined with a meet & greet, in Groningen. This meeting was enthusiastically visited by office staff, account managers, and technical sales engineers of itsme. In the near future, similar meetings will be organized with the support department, application engineers and technical consultants. The aim of these meetings is to provide itsme employees with the necessary knowledge of PROCENTEC solutions. This type of meeting will be organized with itsme employees of twelve different locations. Additionally, together with individual itsme account managers, several meetings with customers have been planned. Currently, these customers are all located in the Dutch northern provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
Customers can now enjoy the combined efforts of itsme and PROCENTEC, which leads to a lower TCO (total cost of ownership) for the customer. By combining forces, itsme now functions as a one-stop-shop, where customers can buy complete solutions at one supplier. Moreover, itsme can offer technical support for several products from several suppliers from their headquarters and support department in Raamsdonksveer. Because PROCENTEC training courses are now facilitated at several itsme-locations, customers are saved from travelling time and costs. This is another positive contribution to substantially lowering TCO for customers!
